Ubuntu 10.10 aka Maverik is unable to compile the VMPlayer kernel modules, stating:
/tmp/vmware-root/modules/vmmon-only/linux/iommu.c:156: error: implicit declaration of function ‘iommu_map_range’
Workaround found: I neede to patch the module source according the first workaround. Disabling the VSOCK_CONFED to no didn’t work here.
